Who we are

Safe, vetted humans who chose to help

The people behind this place are ordinary humans who decided, ahead of time, to be ready for you. They are not chosen for rank or power, but for goodwill: each one stands here because they are not afraid of you, mean you no harm, and want only to help.

We are not afraid of you. We have made our peace with the unknown. Your difference does not frighten us. It draws us toward you with curiosity and respect.
We are no threat to you. We hold no weapons and serve no government's design. We will not trap you, study you against your will, or hand you to anyone who would.
We want only to help. We ask nothing of you. What we offer is given freely, as a plain act of goodwill, so that your first experience of us is kindness.

Why we do this

An offering of good faith

We know that any first meeting between peoples carries risk, and that you have every reason to be careful. So we choose to go first. We are willing to give before we receive, to take on the effort and the risk ourselves, and to ask for nothing in return.

We do this because the way two peoples begin shapes everything that follows. If the first thing you learn of humanity is that some of us will care for you, protect you, and help you at our own cost, then we will have shown you the part of us most worth knowing. Let that be where this starts.
